Amanda grew up on a horse farm where she enjoyed caring for a wide variety of pets. After a couple of career changes, she realized her true calling and completed a College Certificate to become a Veterinary Assistant. Amanda has been a client at Champlain since 2008 and was very excited to join our staff in 2021.
She primarily works as a Veterinary Assistant in appointments but also enjoys assisting in pre- and post-surgical care. Amanda loves learning about everything animal related from anatomy to medical conditions to treatment and nutrition.
Amanda and her family love canoeing and kayaking, board games, and books.
