Practice Manager

Christine grew up in Toronto, and after many years as a cottager, relocated to the area in 1985. Her lifelong love of animals and customer service background soon led her to Champlain Animal Hospital, and her love of her job has kept her here for over 30 years. It has been rewarding to welcome new generations of clients, and watch their puppies and kittens grown through every stage of life.

Customer service is very important to Christine, and she is proud to work at a hospital with amazing doctors and a dedicated team of compassionate support staff who share a common goal to offer the best possible care to their patients, while paying close attention to client care at the same time.

When at home, Christine enjoys spending time with family, gardening, cooking, and caring for her Chihuahua, Simon, and her cat, Gracie.

Is Rabies Virus Really A Risk For My Pet

Rabies is one of the oldest and most feared viral infections of all time. Despite having a vaccine available, every year, there are 55,000 human deaths worldwide. Of the 25 human deaths from rabies in Canada, the most recent was in 2012, and all happened after exposure to bats. In Canada, there were 239 cases of animal rabies in 2017 and 183 in 2018.
