Holly Animal Care Attendant

Holly grew up in the small town of Woodview, Ontario, until she moved to Lakefield, Ontario, in 2010. She has always loved animals since she was a little girl.  Her love of animals made her want to go to school in a related field so she could have a career working with them, and in 2013 she was accepted into the Veterinary Assistant and Dog Grooming courses at Northern College in Haileybury, Ontario. In April 2014, she graduated from these courses with Honours.

In September of 2014, Holly joined the Champlain Animal Hospital team. Holly enjoys learning new things in the Veterinary field every day and especially loves learning about lab work. The thing she loves most about her job is helping Co-op students learn the ropes of her job working behind the scenes looking after patients, setting up for surgery and organizing the order when it arrives, among many other things.

When she is not at work, she is at home with her husband Nate, her 10-year-old cat Felix, and her French Bulldog Indy. Holly also enjoys arts and crafts, baking, cooking, horror movies and watching DIY videos on YouTube.
