Rebecca Foss, RVT

Registered Veterinary Technician

Rebecca started her path towards veterinary medicine at a very young age with a band-aide and a stuffed dog. She has always been surrounded by animals growing up--from cats and dogs to hamsters, rabbits and fish. She dabbled in human medicine but decided it wasn’t for her, but medicine was. Rebecca started her education at the University of Guelph, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Animal Biology in 2015. She then focused on becoming an RVT and graduated from St. Lawrence College in 2019. Currently, her passions lie in cytology and anything lab-related, but she is a sucker for puppy cuddles, kitten purrs and old pet faces.

Rebecca started at Champlain in the Spring of 2021 and couldn’t be happier. When Rebecca is not at work she spends her time taking care of her tabby cat Ember, her fishies and her multitude of plants, as well as spending time with family and friends, reading, crocheting and generally being a homebody.
