COVID-19 Screening

If you have an appointment scheduled at our hospital, please review the following Covid-19 screening prior to your visit. If you answer NO to questions 1 through 3, you are welcome to accompany your pet into the hospital to see the veterinarian.

Please note that appointments booked with our Registered Veterinary Technicians (nails trims, blood work) will continue to be curbside while you remain in your car. We will come out and bring your pet in for you.

SCREENING QUESTIONS

  1. Do you have any of the following new or worsening symptoms or signs that are not related to getting a COVID-19 vaccine in the last 48 hours or other known causes or conditions you already have?

    • Fever and/or chills
    • Difficulty breathing or shortness of breath
    • Sore throat, trouble swallowing
    • Runny nose/stuffy nose or nasal congestion
    • Decrease or loss of smell or taste
    • Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain
    • Not feeling well, extreme tiredness, sore muscle

  2. In the last 14 days, have you travelled outside of Canada and been told to quarantine (per the federal quarantine requirements)?
  3. Have you had close contact with a confirmed or probable case of COVID-19?

If you have answered NO to all questions, you may bring your pet for their appointment. Please remember to wear a mask when engaging with staff members.

If you have answered YES to any question, you are advised to contact your health care provider or Telehealth (1-866-797-0000) for further instructions. Please reschedule your appointment or make alternate arrangements for someone else to bring in your pet.

We are OPEN with the following hours:

Monday to Friday: 8:00 am - 6:00 pm

Saturday: 8:00 am - 1:00 pm

Sunday: Closed
